Biography

Dr.Rafik Abdulal, Consultant thoracic, and breast Oncological surgery through the period 1991-2018 in Latakia National Hospital, Ministry of Health. He was named the chief of residency training program in Latakia Directorate of Health. In 2010 he was appointed chief of surgical departments, International member of the American society of Breast Surgeon, Lecturer and founder member of the Syrian foundation for breast cancer support in Latakia private experience in breast cancer screening, detection and surgery.

Research Interest

Thoracic trauma surgery, VATS, Port-A-cath experience, breast oncologic surgery, congenital diaphragmatic hernias, and esophageal surgery, surgery of thoracic tuberculosis, surgery of thoracic malignancy, esophageal surgery and replacement, war surgery.
