Women Oncology Rehabilitation and Pregnancy

Women who receive a cancer diagnosis during pregnancy and women who have undergone cancer treatments prior to pregnancy are facing unique and difficult challenges. Risk of most cancers development takes place in women with ages. Cancer during pregnancy is very rare. They are several kinds of cancer treatments are available but some cancer treatments are safe for the foetus during pregnancy and some are not. Most cancers do not spread from a woman to the foetus but some cancers may spread to woman’s placenta as well.

During pregnancy x-rays, CT scans or nuclear medicine tests are safer for women. Radiation of these x-rays would not harm the foetus of women in pregnancy.

  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Abdominal Bloating
  • Rectal Bleeding
  • Fatigue
  • Headaches
